The new release of Azure Linux (CBL-Mariner) v2.0.20240301 also has some source code updates and is in the process of renaming artifacts, such as moving from “MARINER_VERSION” to “AZL_VERSION” for Azure Linux.
Azure Linux package system (CBL-Mariner) is based on RPM, using dnf and Tiny DNF package managers from Photon OS (Photon OS system is VMware containers for cloud applications).
